AI303-C1 water separator: Excellent!
I bought this to keep moisture from getting in my nailer and it does an excellent job. Previously I relied on simply draining moisture from the tank in my air compressor, but even after doing so, I noticed a little water coming out when I drove nails. I live on the Gulf coast, and there is a lot of humidity, so the compressor really builds up moisture fast. This was easy to install and has done a great job so far. AR-01 regulator: Wow! Better than my Devilbiss valve!
This valve is awesome! I bought it because I read in the reviews that the lense on the guage is glass and not plastic. The plastic lenses get hazy if you get solvents on them. Big plus that it has a glass lense. I was surprised in the quality of the valve. It's really smooth and accurate when you adjust it. Turn it to the pressure you want and it stays there, no fluctuation. My Devilbiss valve has a glass lense but the adjustment is not great. If you set it and let go of the trigger and depress it again, it doesn't return to your setting. So you have to adjust again to get it right. Not the Lematec. Just set it and forget it. It's made in Taiwan and I've noticed that tools made in Taiwan are usually of better quality than some from China. I like the blue anodizing. Nice tool👍

AR-01 regulator: Works very well
I used this for my spray paint gun for automotive work. I followed the instructions and set the pressure with flow on the gun. When you are not using air, it shows the hose pressure. When you squeeze the trigger on the gun you get a burst of higher pressure air, but that is normal, spray paint guns have dule stage trigger just for this reason. You just leave the gun trigger at air output and only go between paint out put and not.Worked just fine and no air leakage around the regulator knob.

Questions

Will these parts fit my compressor and air tools?
Yes, if they use 1/4 inch NPT threads, the most common size on US home and shop compressors and air tools. Every part in this kit is 1/4" NPT. If your compressor outlet is 3/8 inch, add a 3/8 to 1/4 inch adapter.

In what order do the parts go?
A typical setup is compressor, hose with quick-connect fittings, water separator, regulator, then the swivel right at the tool inlet. The water separator goes before the regulator so the regulator only sees dry air.

Do I need thread tape?
Yes. Wrap the male threads with PTFE (Teflon) tape before you tighten them. Tape comes with the fittings kit, the swivel and the water separator.
