The overall shaper of this grinder is a little different than previous grinders I’ve used. The body is a bit short and a bit fatter. It fits my hand well but might be a bit bulky for small hands. The other difference is the inclusion of a safety on the trigger. I understand why it’s there but takes a little getting used to its presence. After using this for a while I’ll probably not even think about it but I haven’t yet internalized undoing the safety.Overall this seems like a nice tool. It’s heavy built and works exactly as I expect it to work. A good addition to the shop.
I ordered this 90 degree angle air grinder mainly to clean metal parts prior to repair. I really like the tool is powerful, lightweight and compact which really makes a difference when using the grinder for an extended period of time. Another feature that is very convenient is the spindle lock that makes attachment changes quick and simple. The tool has worked as advertised and I have not encountered any issues with design, craftsmanship or performance.
I am use to these die grinders running around 25K RPM, this one is at a claimed 18K, still fast, but if the number is real it is slower, but not hardly noticeable when working. The body is much smaller than other tools like this. I would call it a stubby, if you need a smaller one for tight spots then this one could certainly work.
This is a bare-bones box consisting of the angle die grinder, a tiny spool of teflon tape, a tightening wrench for the collet, a ¼ inch male NPT air coupler and a parts list. This is more bare bones than I anticipated for the price they are asking. There was no complimentary spindle, bits or wheels included or even an instruction manual.I was hoping for pressure ratings, maintenance/lube advice or suggested compressor size etc etc...What you see is what you get.I tried it out to see if my installation of the coupler was air-tight and to see how it runs.Speed is controlled by the hand pressure switch. The more you squeeze, the more air is released and the faster it runs. I've gotta say that the lock release of the switch is not easy to operate with one hand.I attached it to my small compressor - and it ran great...very smoothly indeed, and I couldn't feel any vented air coming from anywhere. It makes one heck of an impressive noise, especially if you open the throttle.I'm going to say though that my compressor ( set at ~90lbs.) might be far too small as it came back on to re-pressurize after only 30 seconds of use. This angle die grinder feels weighty for its size and appears to be sturdily made. Searching on-line for comparisons, this grinder from LE LEMATEC far exceeds others in price. As there was no literature vouching for its quality and durability, it might takes a while to prove that this is a worthy buy.
I really like this little grinder. It came with the adapter that works out of the box with my harbor freight connectors, and it even included the smallest spool of thread tape I have ever seen. I hooked it up to air and it spun up great. Be careful when oiling it, as i was overly generous and created quite the cloud of oil when I spun it back up. It feels good in the hand, and it didn't leak. This is a very useful tool to add to your garage.
This is quite a stubby die grinder but it is still quite heavy for the size. The orange button locks the spindle so you can use the supplied wrench to loosen/tighten the bits.It accepts 1/4" bits (confirmed) and the collet is well machined to do so.The trigger has a locking pin that you need to push up before you can squeeze the trigger. It works but you it is a bit fiddly. Squeezing the trigger even slightly makes disengaging the lock difficult. After a bit of practice it is far easier, but certainly not something you do instinctively. In operation it is quite smooth. It spins up fast and goes fast. There is very little free play in the spindle so it will be easy to do precision work with it.Works very well at this point, but 18,000 rpm can take its toll on tools. I can't comment on its longevity.
This grinder is a bit on the small size, but still fits in hand well, is easy to actuate and use. It has a good weight to it and feels robust so I expect it to have a long service life. I appreciate any time a tool comes with an exploded diagram of all the parts of the tool and names them in a list. If anything happens to fail, you can pull this apart and try to diagnose what is broken and hopefully get it back in service faster.
Very compact this die grinder is great for getting into tight places. Runs great at 90psi. No issues.
Decent quality little tool that handles your common 90psi settings. I also like how I can adjust the speed on the back. The collet has a lock to easily keep the head fixed while changing out tips. This fits all my 1/4" accessories just fine. Comes with the commonly used 1/4" air chuck quick connect fitting and some teflon tape. Now I'm really impressed by the included parts list with part numbers for everything but I don't know if those numbers interchange with other brands or if these would only be available through this company and if so, how to get in contact with them. Still a nice piece of mind that provides. So far I'm very happy with this tool!
This die grinder is in good quality and comes with nothing else. It took me a few minutes to get used to the trigger. After some practice, it works pretty well and easy to handle. The trigger controls the speed and the spindle lock ensures quick accessory changes, while the front exhaust keeps work areas clean. It is not very noisy and comfort to extended use.
The Le Lematec Angle Die Grinder with Spindle Lock compact design makes it possible to get into tight situations. It’s lightweight and fit in my hand comfortably. It pretty impressive little powerhouse. I’m really impressed and it preformed to my needs.
Works great! The trigger is a bit hard to start but works just fine. Very good quality.
This was about the only thing missing from my collection of air tools. This die grinder is small and compact, easy to use, has variable speed adjustment and swapping bits is a very simple task. It accommodates any 1/4 inch attachment. It comes with a quick connect coupler, Teflon tape and a small wrench. For the price offered I think this quality tool is a great value.
This tool screams well made. It’s got a nice density to it and all the parts look well put together and pristine. It’s a joy to use and it works very well.
The Le Lematec Angle Die was properly packaged and delivered safely in 2 days. The Le Lematec Angle Die Grinder (LE-G1343L) impresses with its solid build and high-speed performance, reaching 18,000 RPM. The spindle lock feature is a standout, allowing for quick and easy bit changes, which is a huge plus for those who frequently switch between tasks. Whether you’re grinding, deburring, or polishing, this tool delivers consistent results and a smooth finish. The front exhaust design is thoughtful, as it directs debris away from the work area, enhancing visibility and cleanliness. Weighing in at a manageable size, it feels comfortable in hand, though it’s advisable to wear ear protection due to its high operating speed. Overall, if you’re looking for a durable and efficient die grinder that can handle a variety of tasks, the Le Lematec is a dependable choice that won't disappoint.
I acquired this so that when working on various projects in the shop or garage that requires grinding or polishing in difficult areas The size fits comfortably in my hand and the exhaust at the top is not distracting in the least. The fact it is an air grinder is a standby. I doubt if a cordless version of this would be as strong or useful. I have used it to polish the small ovals in a pair of classic Super Trick wheels and I was extremely happy with the outcome. For the first time in years I was able to accomplish the polishing and cleaning within the ovals without hours of frustrating hand polishing. This would be a perfect gift for any person who enjoys working with air tools.
Grinder is a good grinder. It's small but will get the job done. The size and weight were good and make it comfortable to use. The included parts were a bonus, if it's the fitting you need. It's a handy grinder to have.
This grinder works well for its small size, although it isn't as solid as I was expecting. Important to note: the product title doesn't mention that this is powered by AIR. It does not plug in to electrical or have a rechargeable battery. If you dig down in the description, it does come up, but they need to put the power source in the title, just like other die grinders on Amazon.
It is fast and quick used all day long on projects in the repair shop. I wish it had a longer handle to fit bigger hands but other then that works really good.
The shaft lock/one wrench idea is something that should have been included on these tools years ago. It's just so much better to change bit or wheels with this setup. And the grinder itself is real nice also. It runs smooth with no weird noises or vibration. Small and easy to handle too. And everything you need to get it set up and working comes in the box. Except for your cutting or abrasive tool of your choice of course. Not really fond of the trigger lock but, it is easy to use and I got accustomed to it real quick. It might seem a bit expensive for an import tool but, it does seem to be of a much better quality level than most. Very happy with it so far.
My husband’s die grinder crapped out so he replaced it with this one. This works well and the nice feature it has is the head lock for changing the bits. Nice unit.
This is a good little grinder. The shaft lock is very convenient. With it's small size it's not as powerful as larger grinders. But used appropriately it's a good grinder.
Le Lematec Quick Change Retainer for Air Hammer Chisel Gun – Accessory for Air Needle Scaler, Ideal for Fast Chisel Changes in Automotive and Metalworking Applications (LE-B74)I never knew these existed. I happened across it on Amazon and knew I had to have it. It fit on my air chisel perfectly. I just screwed it on and tightened the locking screws. All my bits fit right in and work well with it. I am very happy I don’t have to fight with the old spring system anymore. They should sell air chisels with this adapter instead of the springs.
The air chisels appear to be of high quality, and for the price, they’re an absolute bargain. Highly recommend for anyone looking for durable and reliable tools without breaking the bank!
I attached this retainer to my air chisel in less than two minutes. It’s sturdy, functions perfectly, and makes swapping out tools much faster and more efficient. Highly recommend for anyone looking to streamline their work!
