These are the consumable needles for a pneumatic needle scaler or air chisel — not the tool itself, but the wear part that does the actual work. All 19 needles are hardened steel, so the points resist mushrooming and keep cutting through repeated impact against rust, mill scale, weld slag and old paint.
Industrial rust removal and surface preparation: stripping corrosion from structural steel and frames, cleaning weld seams and slag, removing mill scale from plate, and taking paint and coatings off ironwork.
