LE-AN324 Air Needle Scaler — 4500 BPM with Chisel Kit & 19 Needles

Screwed on and worked just like it should. If you have an air chisel with a spring on the nose that looks like mine it should be compatible. It hit nice and hard. If my metal had rust on it it would be gone. It would also make quick work of thick old paint.

This needle scaler works well and effectively removes surface rust and scale.This value priced scaler works as well as any other scaler I have ever used. The only issue I had, which was my fault, was the needle scaler attachment coming loose during operation. There are no detents for the set screws, and they needed to be significantly tighter than I realized. Think chimpanzee tight but not gorilla tight.Once I figured that out the needle scaler attachment stayed in place and effectively removed rust.This tool does use a LOT of air though. My floor mounted compressor could just barely keep up.I can't speak to the effectiveness of the other attachments as I haven't used them.Good value priced tool for removing scale and rust.

In my younger days used to use a dedicated needle gun (or needle scaler). When I saw the LE LEMATEC LE-AN324K 4800 BPM, Air Needle Scaler Gun with Hammer Chisel Kit thought it would be a good addition.I was right. The gun is powerful and has no issue with hammering the needles on steel. Do recommend regularly checking the needle gun mounting screws as they will loosen due to vibration. The kit comes with tooling needed to do that and change set ups. I found swapping to the other bits to be a bit of a chore as the retention spring is strong.WEAR hearing protection!!

I had been in the market for a needle scalar for a while now and when I saw that this was not only a needle gun but a full air hammer as well, I decided to get it.I tried the scaler on a few different surfaces to get a feel for how well it works, it handled painted surfaces like a champ quickly stripping it back to bare metal, when using it to strip rust it takes a bit more work because you have to make sure the needles scrape every part of the surface, but it does remove the rust quickly. Also based on my use so far it does not make as much of a mess as a wire wheel on an angle grinder.As an additional note I did some of my testing using a portable air tank and this ran surprisingly well as a scaler even on a less than ideal air supply.Overall, I am quite happy with the speed the tool worked and how straight forward it was to use. It makes a welcome addition to my tool kit.

Added a picture to show what you will get in the box, as expected no air line adapter, so make sure you have one in your toolbox or throw some in with your order. I didn't take the chisels out, of the packaging, I am going to put those with my air chisel to use with it, as this will be set up as a scaler pretty much full time. So far, with the testing I have done, it is working as I expected when picking it up. A nice addition to my shop.

Founded several years ago in Taiwan, this air needle scaler is a commercial gun, a 3 piece chisel set, and an air needle scaler.I've hooked it up to my air compressor, and was very impressed with its performance.Truly, this is a great buy....with the following recommended improvement:1. If you don't have a 1/4" Quick Disconnect Brass Male Plug Connector/Adapter....you're shut down. You won't be able to attach this to your Air Compressor. You need to furnish your own. Why Le Lematec does not provide one in the box is a mystery? For $5.49, I had 2EA delivered the next day from Amazon. This should have been included in the box! Happy to pay more for the convenience.2. No plastic hard shell carrying case! Happy to pay extra so I can store the gun, the chisels, the scaler, and everything into one box. Why was this overlooked, or intentionally left out? Again, happy to pay a few bucks more for a carrying case and a male plug adapter! This would make life simpler and avoids pain points.Other than that, this is a superior tool to last a lifetime!.

This is one of the best needle scalers we've ever had. It was easy to install on our air gun. Does a great job. Will last you for years. Good value for the money spent.

I bought these replacement needles for my LE-AN324K air needle scaler, and they fit just as expected. They’re sturdy and do the job well, especially for descaling work. I’ve used other needles for similar tools, but these seem to hold up better under pressure.

I used this needle descaler on my air hammer to remove a bunch of rust from the frame of my truck. This descaler worked great and made it so much easier to prepare the metal for the frame coating I use. Using a wire wheel to remove the rust would have made this job go so much slower. Because my air hammer is a fairly powerful one, removing the rust from the whole back frame behind the cab was so satisfying. Be sure to use hearing and eye protection while you work. A great descaler at a fair price. Recommened.
